There’s no one path to entrepreneurship at University of Oregon. Some people get hooked by a class or a guest speaker; others jump into a hackathon or Startup Weekend; still others arrive at the U of O with an idea and the drive to see it through. Yet regardless of the entrepreneur’s starting point, startups typically follow a path that winds from initial idea; through multiple pivots, informed by market and technical engagement; through product/service refinement; and ultimately through scaling and growth. At the University of Oregon, there’s support for all of these activities. The schematic below highlights just three potential paths – all of which are wrapped in a rich ecosystem of complementary resources. To learn more, explore the “Resources” tab.
